The Discovery Regional Development Board (DRDB) would like to welcome you to our web site detailing the beauty and economic potential of the Discovery Zone - Zone 15. Named after John Cabot's discovery of our wondrous isle of Newfoundland in 1497, the Discovery Zone is ideally located in proximity to all major centres within our province. The region is within a two-hour drive of three quarters of the province's population.

The Discovery Regional Development Board has made a commitment to the pursuit of excellence within the region. By engaging in the new possibilities within the new age of electronics and retaining our views of "forward thinking" in all our sectors, we are forging a new era of development and prosperity.

As part of our Zone Profiling Project, we are pleased to announce our Business Infrastucture Database listing all communities in our region and the businesses in each community, as well as our Human Resources Database where residents of the Discovery Zone can register and maintain their employment and education profile.
